Description

Summary
As the Marketing Project Manager, you’ll get to advance the gospel by managing workflow and project assignments for the MarCom Department - including the Digitial, Graphics, and Film/TV teams. You will assist the MarCom Director with building and executing marketing plans and timelines to promote all marketing directives from ideation to execution. As the internal point of contact for all projects, you will serve as the liaison with all church departments and vendors, as well as process all departmental project requests.

This position requires its primary duty must be the performance of office or non-manual work directly related to the management or general business operations of the employer; and its primary duty includes the exercise of discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance.

The Faith Church MarCom Department is responsible for stewarding the marketing, branding, and message for all internal and external aspects of Faith Church. We focus on how it's said, how it looks, how it’s sent, and the audience. MarCom involves targeted interactions with our audience using one or more media, including digital and print advertising, film and television, and web-based marketing channels.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Digital (advertising, email, web development, social media), Film & TV, and Graphics teams as project manager ensuring efficient processes for all projects.
  • You’ll be responsible for creating an agenda for three weekly content runthrough meetings that you are required to attend and help lead:
    • Film/TV Team Meeting (Mon Morning)
    • Graphics Team Meeting (Mon Afternoon)
    • Marketing Team Meeting (Tues Afternoon)
  • Create, update, and maintain detailed project schedules within our project management software (Asana) and ensure all deadlines are met according to the schedule.
  • Help facilitate ongoing, timely, and accurate communications to ensure all projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Develop and implement process improvement plans for the team.
  • Conducts industry research to compare, identify, and adopt new and innovative marketing strategies.
  • You’ll coordinate with Campus Pastors to ensure cross-campus marketing campaigns (video/print assets) are being utilized during our Worship Experiences.
  • You’ll coordinate with our Events team to ensure our Lobby Decor at all campuses is congruent with brand guidelines.
  • You’ll manage and operate within budgets.
  • You’ll work with and maintain multiple relationships: Our designers and editors (to complete projects), Vendors (to order assets for campuses), & other staff on our teams (to communicate church-wide projects and have awareness of other team priorities).

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment (routinely uses standard office equipment).

Physical Demands
Office time is mostly a sedentary role (stationary at desk and working on a computer); during services and events, must have high energy for multiple hour segments.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
The weekly schedule will include 40-45 hours per week and will be the same every week. In addition to your regular weekly hours you will be asked to participate in events that will occasionally include evening or weekend hours, as there are continual seasons where it will be necessary to exceed these minimum hours (i.e., Christmas, Easter, Strategic Planning, are just some examples and do not encompass all of the extended hours opportunities). These hours can/will fluctuate.

Sunday: Schedule varies on assigned campus

Monday: 9:00AM 5:00PM

Tuesday: 9:00AM 5:00PM / alternating every other week until 9pm

Wednesday: 9:00AM 5:00PM

Thursday: 9:00AM 5:00PM

Friday: Off

Saturday: OFF / alternating every other week 3pm-7pm

Travel
Campus to campus local travel will be expected for this position.

Required Education and Experience

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of professional project management experience.
  • Experience in Google Suites (Sheets, Docs, Drives, etc)
  • Proficient in Macintosh / Apple Operating systems.

Preferred Education and Experience

  1. BS/BA in marketing, English, journalism or related field
